The first information found about the La Culla house is from 1009. Like the majority of mediaeval country houses, it was used for making wine until the 19th century.
The Manresa city council bought the house and in 1984, it was given over as a "Nature House", set aside for teaching school children about the environment. Since 1993 it is home to the “Learning field”, devoted to nature and the agricultural world.
In 2001, it became the headquarters for the Regulatory Board of the Pla de Bages Denomination of Origin.
Pre-arranged visits and wine tasting courses.
